The philosophies we instruct by, the commitments we make to progressive learning, and the connections we make with families of young children make all the difference. Allow me to share some proven techniques that have facilitated growth in not only my students and their education, but in the involvement of families within not only our PreK program but in our PreK environment as well.
Session Outcomes: Professionals will be challenged to engage in at least one technique from the presenter to connect with families. Professionals will collaborate with peers to generate one new technique. Professionals will implement these new techniques and document their progress to hold themselves accountable. Professionals will learn about the USD 386 early childhood initiative and its alignment with Kindergarten Readiness and the Kansas Vision.
