We’ve learned that there are still misunderstandings about different kinds of assessments, and what they are used for. When you add families into the mix, who may not understand the different kinds of tests their children take, there is lots of room for confusion around assessments. This presentation will better equip teachers to answer parent’s questions regarding assessments used within their school districts. Participants will learn about developing a communication plan for families which includes the “how” and “what” to communicate with families about assessments in their school districts.
